Ökoplan is proud to be announced the winner of the Abu Simbel Competition. The competition was about designing a luxurious residential compound in the heart of Abu Simbel City, comprising all related entertainment facilities and services. The aim of the competition was to create a hub of attractions and services that can be considered as a landmark in the area.  A team of ten architects was working on the competition over the period of one month.

On Wednesday, 7 March 2019, Ökoplan had the pleasure to sign ElRabwa schools contract. The project is to be executed in Al-Mostakbal City in Egypt with a gross land area of 16 feddans and a total built-up area of 69,690 sqm. The project is a unique educational complex, comprising four schools for all educational stages starting from the Nursery Stage until the Secondary Stage.

The schools’ buildings shall comprise numerous activities, including a theater, a swimming pool, a multi-purpose hall for indoor sports, a central kitchen and cafeterias, as well as playgrounds with 20% shaded areas and playing courts to accommodate various events.

Last month, Ökoplan’s team attended the launch of Castle Landmark New Cairo Compound: a residential Compound developed by Castle Development for Real Estate and designed by Ökoplan. The project covers an area of 41 feddans, including residential and mixed-use buildings.

The design of the project was displayed, the developer praised Ökoplan’s efforts and the team enjoyed attending the event, while having the pleasure of being introduced to many public figures.

Great Event… Great Exposure!

On Wednesday the 23^rd of May, 2018, all Ökoplanners enjoyed their annual Iftar in Heliopolis Sporting Club, EL-Shorouk City. This annual ritual gives Ökoplan’s family the opportunity to socialize outside the work environment, and to experience Ramadan spirit together.

It felt very special for us, Ökoplanners, to be reunited within the premises of one of our most significant projects and to enjoy one of our own unique designs in real life.

HSC El-Shorouk is one of Ökoplan’s major projects, which started in 1994: it was actually the first project in Egypt; one that triggered various opportunities for the firm, especially in new urban communities.

Ökoplan’s Business Development team carried out a presentation session about MIPIM to convey the experience of Ökoplan’s team there to the rest of the colleagues. The presentation comprised several parts including a small introduction about MIPIM, being the world’s largest Real Estate Market Show, as well as the journey of the team inside and outside the venue. The presentation also comprised the team’s analysis and feedback about this year’s “MIPIM experience”. There will be more sessions to come to present specific projects and ideas that were brought up in the show.
